Wine tasting tours of any wine producing region can be very educational and a whole lot of fun. There are many ways to plan and go about a wine country tour, from a self-guided tour to pre-planned package tours offered by travel agencies. Lucca Wine Treasures specializes in arranging wine tours in the Lucca Region in Tuscany. For the curious type wanting to know a bit of viticulture and the wine making process, or the novice wanting to learn how to taste and appreciate quality wines, we will provide a tour which will be entertaining, informative and fun.
We are arranging tours to Lucca vineyards every Tuesday and to Montecarlo every Thursday of the week during the period from April 1st to October 31st.
The tour program starts with a traditional Tuscan lunch at our Enoteca Calasto, located in the heart of the old town of Lucca. As an optional additional experience we can offer you to end the day with the famous Puccini concert in the Church of San Giovanni followed by dinner at the Calasto. The tour program looks as follows:
Tour Plan- • 13:00 Meeting at Enoteca Calasto in Piazza Giovanni for Lunch
- • 16:00 Visit and wine tasting at your selected vineyard
- • 18:30 Back at Enoteca Calasto
- • 19:15 Puccini concert (optional)
- • 20:30 Dinner at Enoteca Calasto (optional)
To select your preferred vineyard simply click either on Lucca or Montecarlo Wine Tours and select from more than 35 local vineyards. By clicking on the individual vineyard you will be able to read an outline and familiarize yourself with its location and wines produced.
Having selected the vineyard simply go to booking and confirm your reservation. If you during your stay would like to visit more than one vineyard we recommend that you contact us for a tailor made tour.
